Inspired!

Today I went to the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce Biz2Biz Expo which was held in an old potatoe factory which has been converted into a complex for the visiting cruise ships. It was a great venue, job well done by the Chamber.

I went with my friend Louise MacDonald. Beforehand we googled the keynote speaker, Pete Luckett from Pete’s Frootique and were most impressed with his marketing and promotional website. When we got there Louise spotted Mr. Luckett and went right over to him, nodding to Premier Ghiz on the way (”How are ya Robert?”) and introduced herself and moi. He and Premier Ghiz, Mayor Lee and Sandy (Jimmy the Janitor) were then photographed by Louise Vessey.

Job well done by the Chamber, great to see lots of booths and companies supporting the event, donating prizes and food, drinks, ice cream, etc.

A temendous presentation by Mr. Luckett. It is inspiring to see a successful entrepreneur who oozes enthusiasm and passion like that. One can easily forget or lose that and it’s important to be reminded that that’s what it’s supposed to be about - doing something that you love.
