My friend and I were supposed to get together for coffee on Wednesday but our schedules conflicted and we couldn’t do it. I emailed her on Thursday to say that I wasn’t able to meet until next week because I was flying to Ottawa around noon.

I arrived at the lounge of the airport and who is there with her suitcases - Mary Anne! AND I just happened to have the book I was going to return to her but was bringing it with me so that I could sneak in a few last pages. So I turned it over to her and we were able to catch up over an hour and a half in the lounge and on the flight.

It’s fun to people watch in airports. I was a bit caught off guard when I saw a woman that used to work for me and I totally couldn’t remember her name. Gotta work on improving my memory.
